You support daily dock operations by assisting with mooring ships, operating basic equipment, supplying air and water, performing maintenance and small repairs, and ensuring a clean, safe working environment while following all safety procedures.

Omschrijving

As a Handyman / Dock Worker, you help with daily work at the shipyard. Together with your team, you make sure ships can dock and undock safely and that the dock equipment works properly. This is a practical, hands-on job.The purpose of the role is to maintain and operate the pumping systems of the docks and the associated piping and valves.

• Technical or practical work experience (shipyard, construction, maintenance is a plus)
• VCA certificate (or willing to get one)
• Not afraid of physical work
• You like working with your hands
• Flexible (day, evening, weekend shifts)
• Forklift certificate is a plus (not required)
