Summary

As a Quality Assurance Officer, you'll play a crucial role within our organization. You'll report directly to the Quality Manager and work closely with the production department and other colleagues to ensure the highest quality and food safety standards. While you won't be leading, you'll be a vital link: you'll support, advise, and motivate colleagues to work according to established quality and hygiene guidelines. Thanks to your accuracy, communication skills, and responsibility, you'll contribute daily to safe and high-quality products.

Description

  • Monitoring and controlling production processes and compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations.
  • Performing quality controls during filling and packaging, including weight, leak testing and batch code checks.
  • Checking production and quality forms for completeness and correctness.
  • Performing quality measurements on raw materials and end products (e.g. pH, Brix, organoleptic) and assessing CoAs.
  • Performing cleaning quality checks, including swab tests and hygiene rounds.
  • Blocking of deviating products or raw materials.
  • Explaining procedures, work instructions and food safety requirements to employees.
  • Participate in internal audits and follow up procedures within the quality management system.

For this role, we're looking for someone who works systematically and accurately, has strong communication skills, and strong analytical skills. You have an eye for detail and are able to prioritize within a dynamic work environment. You're also able to connect the dots between processes and actively contribute to continuous quality improvement.

For this role, you need at least a vocational (MBO) work and thinking level, preferably with a degree in Laboratory Technician, Food Technology, or a similar field. You have at least two years of relevant work experience in a quality department, laboratory environment, or the food industry.
